Who Are You?

From birth until you are maybe a pre-teen you are who your parents molded you to be. Starting around the ages of 11 and 12 you start to grow into your own person. Still holding on to those teachings of your parents or guardians, you also start to learn more about life and the type of person you want to be. So that still leaves the question of, do you know who you truly are? Fast forward to college and you learned even more new things about yourself. So you adopted some more new ways and let go of old ways. When life after college hit, you started to learn more new things as an adult that would either help or hinder your new stage of life. Then that dreadful day comes where you don't really realize who you are or who you want to be. You've been who your parents raised you to be, who your friends want you to be, and who your job determines you need to be to accurately perform the duties for your title. Birthday 31 - Cruise

Birthday 31 started off fabulous because God allowed me to see a new day in my right mind with the activity of my limbs. I'm blessed beyond measure to be able to spend it with the people I love and the ones who love me back. My big sister and I celebrated it with our first cruise to the Bahamas. Neither of us had ever been to the Bahamas. We made some great new friendships on and off the ship. It's funny how the world is separated by 6 degrees. I met so many people from GA, FL, TN, and AL along with people from up north and other countries. We were all one big family thousands of miles from shore. Sometimes I ask God how am I so blessed but I thank Him for the people He has placed in my life whether for a reason or a season. I can never repay my sister for always being there and supporting me in all of my endeavors. She gives selflessly of her time and everything she does is done with love.
