Parents all your kids want is an apology

I know there’s no how-to book for parenting or exact guidelines on how to be a good parent, but as you grow & learn from your mistakes you should talk these things out with your child(ren). That old saying I’m the parent & you are the child just do as I say is the reason we keep carrying these curses from generation to generation.   As you became a parent you should have remembered the things you didn’t like that your parents did to you & not repeat these things with your offsprings. That “it was how I was raised” is not always the right way. As the book of life tells us when you know better you do better. So I’m sure there are things you know you could have done better than your parents. For the unnecessary situations or harm you brought to your child, for the lies & broken promises, for abandoning them, for the abuse, or for the early introduction to drugs, alcohol, and/or sex APOLOGIZE.  Since a lot of these generational curses are still being passe...

You aren't meant to be alone

God created Eve to help Adam. We were created to coexist with each other. I never understood why people say they are just going to be alone. God wanted us to procreate and multiply. It's mainly because of the experiences that males or females have been through to make them say that, but deep down I don't believe they truly want to be alone. If you are already married or in a long-term relationship, be open to fixing problems that arise during your relationship. Deal with that abuse, molestation, or abandonment and this goes for males and females. Yes males y'all have feelings you need to deal with also. We don't expect y'all to carry the world on your shoulders. We are here to help. If you can't give your all to the one you ...

Blend In

It takes a village to raise a child. Nowadays we as black people are in competition with each other too much to help each other out. There isn't much reaching back and bringing up our fellow brothers/sisters and too many don't want people to take their spotlight. Oh, what we could all learn from each other if we just work together. There is strength in numbers and until we realize it, we won't prosper as our ancestors fought for us to. During slavery our people had so little, but they had their faith, songs, and each other. How many of you can truly say you have a solid support system to boost you up or pray with you when times get hard? Every time I've leveled up, I always told the people I was leaving behind if there is a position or stepping stone for you where I am going I will be sure to let you know. I don't mind sharing recruiters or resources I want us all to WIN. This leads me to my point of this blog blended families. Everyone I know with a blended f...
